The Charts, on your Home page, is a running snapshot of what the Music League community is submitting right now. It ranks songs by how often they've been submitted, so you can spot what's catching on and find your next great pick.
How songs are ranked
The Charts rank songs by submission frequency — the number of times a song has been submitted across leagues. This is different from a league's standings, which are based on the votes a song earned in a round. A song that shows up on The Charts is one a lot of people chose to submit, whether or not it went on to win.
The featured time window rotates automatically — all time, the last 30 days, or the last 12 months — so the ranking stays fresh. The window that's active shows up right on the active tab.
The global view
By default, The Charts show the global ranking: the most-submitted songs across every public league. Only public-league data feeds this view, so nothing you submit in a private league ever shows up here.
From people you follow
Switch to the "From people you follow" view to see the songs ranked among the people in your circle — everyone you follow, plus your accepted friends. It uses the same ranking and time window as the global chart, but narrows the data to your people, so it's a quick way to see what your friends are into.
A few things to know:
- Like the global view, it only counts submissions in public leagues. Private-league submissions never appear.
- It's personal to you — you'll only see it when you're signed in.
- If you don't follow anyone yet, or the people you follow haven't submitted anything in public leagues in the current window, you'll see a friendly prompt to find people to follow instead of an empty chart.
Want more to show up here? Follow a few more players, or add some friends, and their public-league submissions will start feeding your chart. See Following Players and Adding Friends for how following and friending work.
Playing a preview
Each row shows the song's album art, title, and artist. Hover over (or tap) the album art to play a 30-second preview right from The Charts, the same way you can from a voting ballot.
