Creating a League

Inviting Players to Your League

How to share your invite link, invite recent co-players, and handle full leagues.

How do I invite people?

The easiest way is to share your league's invite link. Every league has its own unique link that you can copy and send however you like — a group chat, text message, email, whatever works for your crew.

When someone taps the link, they'll be taken directly to your league. If they don't have a Music League account yet, they can create one right there and join in the same flow.

Can I invite people I've played with before?

Yes. On the Invite & Launch step (Step 5 of the wizard), there's an "Invite Directly In-App" section. By default it shows your recent co-players — anyone you've played with in past leagues. Check the people you want to invite and tap the button to send invitations.

You can also:

Once you launch, selected players receive an email invitation. Before launch (while the league is still a draft) invitations are queued up and will go out as soon as you launch. This is all optional — the invite link works whether or not you send direct invitations.

Does the invite link expire?

No. Your league's invite link is permanent and stable — it's the same link whether you share it before launch, right after launch, or months later. You can reshare it any time to add new players, as long as the league hasn't hit its player limit.

What if my league is already full?

If someone tries to join via the invite link and the league has reached its player limit, they'll see a message letting them know the league is full. You have two options:

Can I invite people after the league has started?

Yes. Your invite link keeps working after launch. Players who join mid-league will start participating from the next round — they won't be added to rounds that are already open or closed. Their scores in completed rounds will show as zero, so that's worth keeping in mind for overall standings.
