League Playlist

How to turn a league's completed rounds into a single playlist saved to your own music library.

A League Playlist gathers every song from a league's finished rounds into one playlist, saved to your own library on your music service. It's a quick way to keep the music from a league in one place and listen back any time.

When you'll see the button

The Generate League Playlist button appears in a league's Completed Rounds section when both of these are true:

  • You're a member of the league, and
  • The league has at least one completed round — a round whose results are out.

If a league doesn't have any finished rounds yet, there's nothing to add, so the button doesn't show.

What goes into the playlist

  • Only songs from completed rounds are included. A round that's still open for voting is never added, so nothing spoils the results.
  • It works at any point during the season — you don't have to wait for the whole league to end. The playlist covers the rounds finished so far.
  • The songs are added in random order. Every playlist gets a fresh shuffle rather than the order songs were submitted.

It's your own playlist

Each member creates their own playlist in their own library — nothing is shared or posted to a group account. The playlist lands in the library of your primary music service: your Spotify library or your Apple Music library. You'll need a music service connected first. If you're asked to reconnect, do that from your profile and try again.

After you generate it

Once your playlist is ready, the button becomes two options:

  • View League Playlist — opens it in your music service.
  • Regenerate — rebuilds it with a new random shuffle, and picks up any rounds that have finished since you last generated it.

This is an official Music League account.
