Reporting a chat message, comment, or player is a flag for review — not an automatic takedown. Nothing happens to the content until someone reviews your report and decides what to do. You choose who reviews it:
- Report to a League Admin — the flag goes to your league's League Admin. The admin has the option to escalate the report to Music League.
- Report to Music League — the flag goes to Music League's own moderation team instead. Use this when the League Admin is unavailable or is the problem, or when something is serious enough that the company should see it directly.
Who sees my report?
That depends on where you sent it. A League-Admin report is seen only by the League Admin (or every League Admin, if the league has more than one). The admin can see that you made the report, but it's not shown to the person you reported or to other players. A report to Music League is seen by Music League's moderation team, and it's not shown to the person you reported or to other players either.
What can be done with it?
A League Admin has four outcomes: Hide (the message or comment is replaced with a placeholder for everyone in the league; the author is notified), Delete (the message or comment is removed entirely, no placeholder, no trace; the author is notified), Dismiss (reviewed, no action needed; the content stays untouched), or Escalate the report to Music League.
Music League's moderation team can do all of that plus more, because they act at the company level: hide or remove content, warn the player, or take action on the player's account across the whole platform — beyond a single league.
Can any of that be undone?
No, and this is true for all three outcomes:
- Hide and Delete are permanent. There's no "unhide" or "restore" button — once a League Admin hides or deletes a message or comment, it's final.
- Dismiss can't be reopened. The report itself is closed for good. But dismissing doesn't lock the content — a League Admin who changes their mind can still hide or delete it directly from the chat or comment thread, the same way they would moderate anything else in their league.
- You can't withdraw a report you already submitted. If you reported something by mistake, send your League Admin a chat message asking them to dismiss it.
